JTC using AI system to detect road defects in industrial estates

Road defects in industrial estates can now be rectified faster, with inspections becoming quicker and less laborious. A new artificial intelligence system adopted by JTC Corporation reduces the time taken for the process to around an hour, compared to two days previously. Potholes, damaged grille covers and cracks in the tarmac are examples of defects the system's able to automatically detect. It's able to operate at night and during rainy conditions too. The system's developer said the accuracy of the inspection also surpasses that of traditional methods.
