Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) noted in a statement that Punjab and Haryana High Court has not given any relief to Bagga and has not stayed the warrant of arrest against him. "Punjab and Haryana High Court has not given any relief to BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga. The court has not stayed the warrant of arrest. Punjab Police has said in the court that they will not arrest Bagga till 11 am on May 10," the statement read. Earlier it was reported that the Punjab and Haryana High Court granted Tajinder Bagga protection from coercive action till the next date of hearing.

भारतीय जनता पार्टी के नेता तजिंदर पाल सिंह बग्गा की गिरफ्तारी पर 10 मई तक चल गई है. पंजाब-हरियाणा हाई कोर्ट (HC) ने बग्गा के गिरफ्तारी वारंट पर सुनवाई के बाद यह फैसला लिया. मोहाली कोर्ट से जारी हुए गिरफ्तारी वारंट के खिलाफ बग्गा ने शनिवार देर शाम पंजाब-हरियाणा हाईकोर्ट का रुख किया. अदालत ने जस्टिस अनूप चितकारा के आवास पर सुनवाई की अनुमति दी. आधी रात को याचिका पर सुनवाई हुई और हाईकोर्ट से बग्गा को राहत मिल गई.
