Taiwan thwarts China 'invasion' in live-fire drill

Taiwanese soldiers fight off simulated coastal assaults from China during the country's biggest annual live-fire exercises at a time when Beijing is ramping up military pressure on the island. The five-day "Han Kuang" (Han Glory) military drills are aimed at testing how Taiwan's armed forces would repel an invasion from China, which regards the island as part of its territory.
