Please Subscribe! <br /> <br />World War One submarine believed to be containing 23 bodies found in North Sea <br />THE well-preserved wreckage of a World War One German submarine has been found off the coast of Belgium, said Belgian broadcaster VRT on Tuesday. Authorities said they would not give the exact location of the wreck in the North Sea to deter looters and to prevent damage, but it was found almost 100 feet under the surface.This is the first time the divers have reached the wreck and provided a description.Everything about the find indicated that the U-Boat was a UB-II, which is a German vessel used in the First World War. The use of submarines in World War One to disrupt British trade routes in the English Channel and the North Sea was a key part of Germany's military tactics."Typically, in these submarines, there were a standard 22 crew members and a commander", says West-Flemish governor Carl Decaluwé."Scientists believe that the submarine came into contact with a mine which came into ignition somewhere at the top of the vessel.. 00FastNews.
