He was allegedly passing defense information to the Chinese regime. The officer worked in a ground control center in northern Taiwan. He reportedly gave the Chinese regime information about Taiwan's early warning radar system.<br /><br />But the defense ministry says that the damage is not as severe as rumored. Taiwan has improved its ability to detect spies after last year's case of espionage by a high-level army general.
