Yes you can play this Bioware classic from the beautiful retina display of the iPad. The game is available now for $9.99 in the App Store.<br /><br />The Knights of the Old Republic is arguably the best Star Wars game of all time and utilizes the iPad's features to improve certain aspects of gameplay. The combat pause-and-play lets you select your attacks and items quickly.<br /><br />You also use touch controls to navigate menus and sort equipment which seems to work pretty well, but like a lot of iPad games, movement appears to be the biggest drawback.
