Russian news cameraman killed in eastern Ukraine
A cameraman for Russia’s state-owned Channel One television has been killed in Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk region.<br /><br />Anatoly Klyan was shot in the stomach after his film crew came under fire when they went to report near a pro-Kyiv military unit.<br /><br />A video released appears to show the moment when he was fatally wounded.<br /><br />Yevgeniy Lyamin, C1R reporter said: “We were looking for a car to take him to a hospital, the nearest one, and when we carried him from the bus his last words were, he turned his head and said: “Camera, camera.”<br /><br />Klyan is the third Russian journalist to be killed during the conflict. <br /><br />Moscow has protested, calling on Kyiv to stop operations in Donetsk and Luhansk, where separatists have seized state buildings and weapons arsenals.
