Russian army on alert after Ukraine clashes

Russian President Vladimir Putin has put two of the country's four military branches on high alert.<br /><br />However, Moscow has insisted that this action was not connected to events in Ukraine.<br /><br />Ukraine's interim President Olexander Turchynov has warned Russia against any military aggression in Crimea in the country's east.<br /><br />Al Jazeera's Rory Challands reports from Moscow.
