India News: Moon sighted, Eid celebrations today

The overcast sky in Jharkhand led to Muslims waiting for an official announcement of the moon sighting, which ultimately came from Imarat-sharia in Patna on Wednesday evening, thereby confirming that Eid would be celebrated all over India on Thursday.<br /><br />Extending wishes for the sight of moon, general secretary of Muslim Majlis Mushawarat, Khurshid Hasan Rumi said the day comes as a blessing from Allah to the millions of Muslim devotees who observe the month-long fast during the holy month of Ramzaan.
