Here are the college football odds from William Hill and trends for Georgia vs. Auburn:Georgia continually cycles in high-end talent and the 2020 season is no different. Much of that manifests on defense, where the Bulldogs ranked second in the SEC in yards allowed and first in points allowed for the opening week. Georgia was also dominant defensively in 2019, leading the conference in scoring defense (12. 5 points allowed per game), total defense (274. 2 yards allowed per game) and rushing defense (75. 7 yards allowed per game) for the season. On the offensive side, the Bulldogs have a physical and talented offensive line, and sophomore running back Zamir White led a host of ball-carriers with 71 yards on 13 carries against Arkansas. Georgia also has a new face at quarterback, with USC transfer JT Daniels projected to take over the reins after he was sidelined in the opener due to a knee injury. Freshman D'Wan Mathis failed to generate efficient offense against Arkansas and former walk-on Stetson Bennett, while better in the opener, isn't an ideal option. As such, the Bulldogs could benefit greatly from the insertion of Daniels, who was once a top-rated recruit. The Tigers performed quite well in their opening win over Kentucky, including a strong effort from quarterback Bo Nix. While Nix was not terribly efficient as a freshman, he produced 16 touchdowns and six interceptions as a full-time starter, while also accumulating more than 300 yards and seven touchdowns as a runner. In Auburn's season opener, he averaged 8. 6 yards per attempt and threw for three touchdowns, bringing confidence even in a difficult matchup.
