For more news visit ☛ http://english.ntdtv.com<br />Follow us on Twitter ☛ http://twitter.com/NTDTelevision<br />Follow us on Facebook ☛ http://me.lt/9P8MUn<br /><br />High-level negotiators from the Chinese regime and Taiwan have signed a nuclear power security cooperation agreement on Thursday at the cross-strait talks in the northern city of Tianjin.<br /><br />It was signed at the 7th meeting between Taiwan's Straits Exchange Foundation (SEF) Chairman Chiang Pin-kung and his Chinese counterpart Chen Yunlin, President of the Association for Relations Across the Taiwan Straits (ARATS).<br /><br />The pact legalizes nuclear security collaborations between Taiwan and the Chinese regime. This includes setting up an exchange program, managing nuclear emergency, monitoring radiation, and assessing nuclear hazards.<br /><br />Besides, nuclear safety, the two top negotiators also discussed industrial cooperation and investment protection.<br /><br />They failed to resolve some on-going differences on the terms of the investment protection pact that protects private investment and the personal safety of business individuals.<br /><br />While bilateral industrial cooperation talks are progressing, the investment protection pact is scheduled to be signed at the next cross-strait talks.
