The 164,000 positions <br />is 1,000 less than what <br />analysts predicted for July. The unemployment rate is <br />.1% higher than what was expected. According to NPR, average <br />hourly wages are now at $27.98 <br />after increasing by 8 cents in July. The job market is also continuing to perform well with 370,000 new additions being reported last month. Despite good signs in the employment market, <br />there is still concern about future <br />economic growth in the U.S. The ongoing trade war between America <br />and China is said to be big reason as it <br />shows no signs of slowing down. Interest rate cuts have also been issued by the U.S. Federal Reserve for the first time in over a decade.
