Cyber attack hits UK, Ukraine and Russia

British and Ukraine firms are reportedly experiencing a major cyber attack. British advertising agency WPP were among dozens to report an issue. Ukrainian firms, including the state power distributor and Kiev's main airport were also affected. Russia's top oil producer Rosneft also said a large-scale cyber attack hit its servers on Tuesday. The Telegraph says the virus is suspected to be ransomware — a piece of malicious software that shuts down a computer system and then demands a sum of money to fix the problem.
