India won the toss and elected to bat first in the 3rd ODI. India set a significant target of 290 runs, thanks to a brilliant century from Shubman Gill. However, Zimbabwe did not give up quickly as they fought hard till the very last over. Sikandar Raza led Zimbabwe with a fighting hundred, but could not get over the line. India won by 13 runs in the end and grabbed a 3 - 0 victory.
